In this video, Compagnie Bracelet Montre shows you step by step how to easily install a NATO strap on your watch, whether it’s made of nylon or leather.
Thanks to its ingenious design, the NATO strap lets you change your style in just a few seconds, without any special tools.
Steps for installing the NATO strap
-
Prepare your watch
Use a Bergeon tool or a small flathead screwdriver to remove your old strap. Hook the fork of the tool onto the lug and pry it toward you to release it. -
Remove the pins
Remove the two pins from the original strap, then reposition them on the watch (between the lugs). -
Install the NATO strap
Unfold your NATO strap, then slide it in from the top (at 12 o’clock) and pull it out from the bottom (at 6 o’clock). Don’t forget to thread the tip back through the safety loop to keep the watch in place. -
Adjust and Wear
Slip the watch onto your wrist, thread the end through both loops on the NATO strap, and fold it back on itself for a perfect fit.
You can then change the NATO strap in just a few seconds, by hand, without any tools!
It’s the most practical and versatile strap for customizing your watch to match your style, your preferences, or the season.
The Benefits of the NATO Strap
- Quick and easy installation
- Enhanced security (even if a buckle comes undone)
- Wide variety of colors and materials (fabric, leather)
