How to Change a Leather Watch Strap?

1. Removing the existing leather strap
- Use a Bergeon tool or a flathead screwdriver.
- Hook the buckle with the fork.
- Pry the buckle loose by pulling the tool toward you.
- Repeat the process on the other side.
- Remove the buckles from the strap.
2. Checking the buckles
- Reuse the original buckles if they are in good condition.
- Otherwise, install the new buckles provided with your new watch strap.
3. Installing the new leather strap
- Insert the buckle into the new strap.
- First, position the buckle in the lower lug of the case.
- Push it back using the tool to align it with the upper lug.
- Repeat the process on the other side.
4. Ensuring the Strap Is Oriented Correctly
- For a pin buckle:
- Buckle side at 12 o’clock
- Tip of the strap at 6 o’clock

- Reinstall your original buckle or use the buckle provided with the strap.
