The insert is a rigid, thick, and curved piece at the lugs that allows the strap to adapt perfectly to the case, ensuring a snug fit around the watch at the lugs.
This Rubber B watch strap is designed to be fitted to the original Rolex folding clasp.
The strap is therefore delivered without a clasp.
