A company name doesn’t really get any more explicit than IWC—which stands for International Watch Co. Yet, the company isn’t quite so one-dimensional, as it boasts a truly remarkable distinction: founded by an American from Boston, Florentine Ariosto Jones, it was physically established in the Swiss workshops of the city of Schaffhausen. By combining modern American production techniques with Swiss precision and craftsmanship, IWC had all the ingredients to become a leading watchmaker—and time has proven them right.
It is thus from French-speaking Switzerland that IWC has made its mark on the international stage, where its secrets and expertise are closely guarded.

The color, style, and texture were carefully selected to embody this concept of timelessness, while also paying homage to this aviator’s watch steeped in history.
